FISHING EXPERT BILL DANCE PUTS TENNESSEE OUTDOOR ADVENTURES CENTER STAGE

National fishing icon Bill Dance is partnering with the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development to appear in a series of television spots promoting the state's numerous fishing and outdoor adventures.

The commercials, which will run through May 9 and be seen nationally on the Outdoor Life Network, invites tourists to visit Tennessee to find the country's largest variety of freshwater fish.

The 30-second television spots feature Dance doing what he has made a career of – fishing and giving advice to anglers mixed with his trademark humor.

Whether it's fishing, hiking, boating, camping or just exploring, Tennessee is the perfect place for an unforgettable vacation. Tennessee has 54 state parks which offer a wide array of recreational opportunities and natural encounters.

Dale Hollow Lake, a fisherman's paradise and home to the world record smallmouth bass is located in Byrdstown. There is a state park within an hour's drive of any point in Tennessee.
