Pictured from left to right are Bob and Janis Keast at the 21st Annual Taste of Jackson. Over 2,000 people attended this chairtable event at the Carl Perkin's Civic Center. The Taste of Jackson supports the March of Dimes which is dedicated to improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Bob and Janis Keast Owners, and employees Patricia Heck and Jeff Guire all worked the event representing Birdsong Resort and The Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Museum, Farm, Tour and Pearl Jewelry Showroom and dished out pure Benton County Sorghum and biscuits from the Furr Family of Holladay, TN, along with literature on Benton County and Birdsong Resort's Freshwater Pearl Museum, Farm and Tour. As an added support, The brochures for the event were printed by Bob who is one of the major contributors of the Taste of Jackson. "I always try to support the March of Dimes as a major contributor of the Taste of Jackson, it's for the kids." says, Bob Keast. Also, Bob helped to coordinate the 50 foot booth area by having a fully restrored 1930 Pearce Arrow with running boards that was an integral part of the event.
