Camden Elementary Third Graders Visit Birdsong
Birdsong Resort & Marina's Tennessee River Pearl Farm hosted third graders from Camden Elementary School on Wednesday, October 31, 2001. Above, pearl tour guide Bob Keast explains how mussels produce pearls. The students were very attentive and learned a great deal about the lake environment. Students were from Mrs. Jill Barnett's and Mrs. Susan Woods' classes.

This particular mussel yielded two coin-shaped pearls.
