The pool is open! Gina Douglas, prior 4-year manager of the Camden City Pool, will be running the pool at Birdsong for this year's "fun in the sun." Concessions will be open serving hotdogs, hamburgers, pizza, French fries, snow cones, chips, candies, soft drinks and assorted adult beverages. Resort guests in the campgrounds or rental cabins have full use of the swimming area, and local public users may visit the pool daily from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for $3.00 per person. Season passes are available for singles or families. Pool parties can be held by reservation for family reunions, ball teams, church groups, and more. The 200-person open-air pavilion with kitchen facilities, basketball area and children's playground close by makes a prime destination for special events.

Campground facilities are lakeside and include paved, pull-thru sites with full hook ups. Primitive, shady tent camping area offers community water and electric. 14 full-housekeeping cottage and manufactured homes are available for rent, and can accommodate from 2-25 persons. New 25-person suite with adjoining deck makes a prime choice for company retreats, conferences, meetings, or family reunions.

Full-service, 140-slip marina offer boat rentals for "borrowed" fun, or see Bob Keast or Bob Hampton to put you in a new or used boat. Birdsong is an authorized Lowe, SeaArk, SeaNymph, Roughneck, Johnson, Evinrude and Mercury dealer and has a full-time factory-trained mechanic on duty.

Birdsong Creek is the unique location to find the only freshwater pearl culturing operation in the North American continent. The Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Museum, Mini-Theatre, Farm and Jewelry Showroom is open 7 days a week, all year around for walk-in briefing tours. Full 3-5 hour tours available by reservation only.
