The Fred Torres and Savannah Tennessee Volunteer Navy River Rats trek to Birdsong



SAVANNAH RIVER RATS - Fred Torres and the Savannah River Rats landed at Birdsong Resort, Marina and Campground for the seventeenth year on Saturday, October 9, 2004. The UT Volunteer Navy group - comprised of fans from Savannah and beyond - gather for this annual cruise to renew old friendships along the way, create new ones, and most importantly, enjoy the UT/Arkansas game at Birdsong. The group has made this a tradition to gather for the Tennessee vs. Georgia game at Birdsong Resort, Marina and Campground and enjoy the game on the ESPN channel in the Bluebird and Hummingbird Cottages. Manned with a commercial-sized barbecue grill, big screen television, full kitchen, picnic tables, the pavilion dance floor, and their new huggies, the Tennessee fans made it a year to remember.
