Birdsong Receives 10-Year-Plus Participation Award

The parade of fine foods features area participating businesses serving samples of what they have to offer - from Red Lobster, to the OutBack Steak House, to Coca Cola, to Casey Jones Village and Birdsong Resort... over 100 establishments offer diners a variety sampler of Jackson, West Tennessee. The Taste of Jackson is an annual fund-raising event held at the Carl Perkins Civic Center benefiting the March of Dimes Foundation. Approximately 100 area businesses participate offering a sampler of foods from all over West Tennessee.)

For over a decade Birdsong Resort, Marina and Campground has participated in this annual event benefiting the March of Dimes. Owner Bob Keast says, "I look forward to the event. It's a social dining extravaganza. Good company, great food, and what a way to promote Benton County!" Birdsong serves hot biscuits and sorghum molasses - made in Benton County, of course - as a sample offering of what all the county has to offer... and all for a good cause.
