Bob Keast and Stanley Hooten take 15 seconds to relax at the Benton County Rescue Squad Food Booth during the Fair. The squad has been operating the booth for 30 years as a major fundraising effort.

Bob and Stanley were college mates at University of Tennessee at Martin, in the late 60's. Next time you see Stanley, ask him the question; "What about Roberta"?

Stanley and Bob have been on hundreds of call outs together with the Rescue Squad over the past 30 years. One in particular rescue effort was when the two of them responded to a wreck by the pond below Furr's Tire Shop/ Busby's Tire and Alignment. Bob was prying the car door open, when the door suddenly popped open and busted Bob's glasses. At that time the squad did not have the Jaws of Life and had to call in the Carroll County Rescue Squad to assist. The next month, the support came in from the community and the Benton County Rescue Squad was in the vehicle extrication business with a new set of Jaws of Life. Ironically, later on the same year, the same thing happened to Stanley.

Bob's life long friend Stanley is married to Kathy Hooten, a Realtor and Owner of ReMax Realty of Camden.
