The Jackson Hotel/Motel Association of Jackson, TN had it's monthly meeting at Birdsong Resort, Marina and Campground on Wednesday, July 12, 2006. They attended the resort and were familiarized with the activities of the resort and took a "Pearl of a Tour." After the group had been wowed by the unique activities involved in the pearl operation, the owner Bob Keast took them to the pavilion where the catering department served them a full meal consisting of mouth-watering ribs, pulled pork, barbecued chicken, potato salad, slaw, cornbread, baked beans, and plenty of delectable apple fritter for dessert. It was plain to see that the group had a fantastic time on the "Pearl of a Tour." It was the best metting the group has had all year said, "Chip Coughlin, General Manager of The Old English Inn, Hotel and Conference Center." Thanks was given to Bob, the rest of the staff and even Hunter who took the complimentary group photo.
