2008 Pearl Tours


November 14, 2008 – Melba Gunnin and Sharon Dickinson of Marion, AL visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm to add on to the “Mini Pearl Tour” Group and had a blast.

November 14, 2008 - Guin First Baptist Church “Young At Heart” Group of Guin, AL., spent the night in Jackson, TN and stopped in to visit the Tennessee River Freshwater Museum, Farm and Tour for a “Mini Pearl Tour.” after the tour the group headed to the Log Cabin Restaurant in Waverly, TN then on to Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch.

November 14, 2008 - Milan First Baptist Church – Golden Agers Group visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a “Drop ‘N Shop Pearl Tour” on their way to Dickson, TN to eat at Miss Mable's Tea Room and Gift Shop.

November 10, 2008 – The Morrison and Yates Family’s visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm and enjoyed listening to tour leader and owner, Bob Keasts’ presentation about the pearl farm.

November 9, 2008 – The Girl Scout Troop #716 of Bartlett, TN enjoyed hearing all Bob has to say about the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Museum, Farm and Tour as they visited for a “Pearl of a Tour”

October 30, 2008 - Trinity Baptist Church “Prime Timers” of Hendersonville, TN enjoyed visiting the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Museum, Farm and Tour for a “Tweener Pearl Tour” and later indulged in some catfish from the Catfish Place Restaurant in Camden, TN.

October 29, 2008 - Bartlett Senior Center of Memphis, TN visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a “Full Pearl Tour” and enjoyed visiting with Owner Bob Keast and also enjoyed seeing John Nerren the Pearl Farm diver emerging with his “catch of the day” and also was overwhelmed by the wonderful barbecue luncheon.

October 28, 2008 – A 3rd Grade Class from Camden, TN at Briarwood School enjoyed visiting the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm, Museum and Tour as a “Student Pearl Tour” Group.

October 14, 2008 – A 4th Grade Class from Hendersonville Christian Academy enjoyed visiting the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a “Student Pearl Tour” Group.

October 1, 2008 – Ken-Tenn Chapter 42 of Escapees enjoyed visiting the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm, Museum and Tour as a “Drop-In Pearl Tour” Group.

August 28, 2008 - Hardin County Bank (Presidents Club) of Savannah, TN as they enjoyed their “Full Pearl Tour” at the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Museum.

August 19, 2008 – First United Methodist Church Methodist Explorers of Dickson, TN enjoying their “Tweener Pearl Tour” at the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Museum and Farm, Tour and Jewelry Showroom.

August 19, 2008 - Linda, Japrese and Gail Lewis added on for a “Tweener Pearl Tour” and had a great time.

August 16, 2008 - Fitzpatrick Family of Cookeville, TN stayed the weekend at Birdsong Resort and Marina and also added on to the Indiana Farm Bureau “Tweener Pearl Tour” Group

August 16, 2008 - Indiana Farm Bureau of Pekin, IN enjoyed stopping in at the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a “Tweener Pearl Tour”. After the Pearl Tour the group then headed to the Catfish Place Restaurant in Camden, TN for lunch on their way to Milan, TN to visit the University Of Tennessee (West Tennessee Ag Museum).

August 16, 2008 - Kalso Family of Northville, MI visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm to add on to a “Tweener Pearl Tour” Group.

August 5, 2008 – First Baptist Church of Greenbrier, TN “Young At Heart Group” enjoyed visiting the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm, Museum and Tour as a “Drop-In Pearl Tour” Group.

June 4, 2008 - Lipscomb University Senior Group Summer Hostel Pearl Tour. This group guided by Bob Keast, had fun on their "Full" Pearl Tour and afterwards visited Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park. After those two events the group attended a church service at the Camden Church of Christ and later enjoyed a nice dinner at the Country and Western in Camden, TN.
