2009 Pearl Tours


November 19, 2009 - Pioneer Christian School of Finger, TN visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a Mini Pearl Tour and enjoyed visiting with Owner Bob Keast and also enjoyed seeing John Nerren the Pearl Farm diver emerging with his catch of the day.

November 17, 2009 - Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church of McMinnville, TN enjoying their Mini Pearl Tour at the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Museum and Farm, Tour and Jewelry Showroom.

October 30, 2009 - Southside Baptist Church of Decatur, AL enjoyed visiting with Pearl Farm owner Bob Keast on their "Full Pearl Tour" and witnessing Tennessee's Iridescent State Gem emerge from the indigenous Washboard Mussel Shell.

October 30, 2009 - The Farmers of Livingston, TX and The Hostetlers of Bloomington, IN enjoyed their "Full Pearl Tour" at the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm.

September 15, 2009 - Hillsboro Senior Group of Franklin, Tennessee visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm, Museum and Tour for a "Full Pearl Tour" the group visited with Bob Keast (owner) and John Nerren (diver) and witnessed natures miracle "the pearl."

September 15, 2009 - Shannon and Kathy Foote of Lewisville, Texas visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a "Full Pearl Tour" and enjoyed witnessing the Official State Gem "the pearl" emerging from its host the indigenous Washboard Mussel.

August 25, 2009 - Trinity United Methodist Church of Murfreesboro, TN visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a Full Pearl Tour and enjoyed visiting with Owner Bob Keast and also enjoyed seeing John Nerren the Pearl Farm diver emerging with his catch of the day and also was overwhelmed by the wonderful barbecue luncheon.

August 22, 2009 - Corinth Charters and Tours visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a "Full Pearl Tour" and enjoyed hearing all Bob Keast (Owner) and John Nerren (Pearl Farm Diver) had to teach about the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearls and the Pearl Mussel industry.

7-9-09 - City of Cullman Parks and Recreation of Cullman, Alabama visited The Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a "Full Pearl Tour" and were excited to hear all about how freshwater pearls are grown in the great state of Tennessee.

6-25-09 - Granny White Church of Christ: Gran-Timers of Nashville, TN visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm and Museum for a "Mini Pearl Tour."

6-15-09 - Abbott Trailways Group from Roanoke, Virginia stopped in to visit The Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm, Museum and Tour for a "Mini Pearl Tour," and enjoyed everything to do with Pearl culturing in Tennessee. The group left from the Pearl Farm and headed to Jackson, Tennessee to stay for the night to then depart on their way to Hot Springs, Arkansas.

6-4-09 - 15 visitors from the Rolling Good Times Tours of Olathe, KS visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a "Full Pearl Tour," along with 5 add-ons to hear about Freshwater Pearl culturing on Kentucky Lake in Camden, TN.

5-29-09 - First Baptist Church of Milan, TN visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm, Museum and Tour for a "Tweener Pearl Tour" and enjoyed visiting with owner, Bob Keast to hear about the mussel and pearl farming industry in Camden, TN on Tennessee's Beautiful Kentucky Lake.

5-29-09 - Michelle Norman, Jared Capps, Robbie French and Ian Capps of Memphis, TN added on to the First Baptist Church of Milan, TN "Tweener Pearl Tour" and enjoyed visiting with owner, Bob Keast and learning about all the exciting aspects of the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm.

5-28-09 - Bethel Bible Village of Hixson, TN visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a "Mini Pearl Tour" and visited with owner, Bob Keast to learn about how Freshwater Pearls are cultured in the Great State of Tennessee.

5-18-09 - Neighbors and Newcomers of Cumberland County, TN visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm, Museum and Tour for a "Mini Pearl Tour." The group met with (owner) Bob Keast and gained a new perspective on the way Tennessee's state gem, the pearl is cultured.

5-15-09 - Marshall Medical Center: Gold Care 55+ of Alabama visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a "Full Pearl Tour" and met with Bob Keast (owner) and John Nerren (pearl farm diver) to hear all about how pearls are grown in the great state of Tennessee. 5-12-09 - Grace Baptist Church Saints Alive Group from the Nashville, TN area, visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a "Tweener Pearl Tour."

5-7-09 - DeLo Day Tours of Knoxville, TN visited the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm for a "Full Pearl Tour" and enjoyed meeting the owner, Bob Keast and pearl farm diver, John Nerren to hear all about the way that Tennessee's State Gem the Pearl is cultured and harvested.

5-6-09 - The Wilhelm Family from Guntersville, AL stopped into Birdsong Resort and Marina in their boat and enjoyed visiting the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm as a special stop from their excursion.

4-27-09 “ Grace St. Luke's Episcopal School stopped in to visit the Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm, Museum and Tour for a Student Pearl Tour¯ and enjoyed visiting with Bob Keast, owner and John Nerren, pearl farm diver to hear all about the processes of growing pearls and the mussel shell industry in Tennessee.

4-20-09 - Adventure Caravans of Livingston, TX visited The Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm, Museum and Tour for a Full Pearl Tour,¯ the group had 167 total participants and enjoyed visiting with Bob Keast, owner of Birdsong Resort and the Pearl Farm and loved meeting with John the Pearl Farm, Diver. The group also indulged in a full course Barbecue luncheon.
